RONALD ALAN FRANKLIN, age 57 of Clanton, passed away on September 23, 2023 at St. Vincent-Chilton Hospital in Clanton, AL. He was born in Alabama on January 5, 1967; the son of the late James Paul Franklin and Julia Ann Sammons Franklin.

He is survived by: Son, Paul Alan Franklin (Ashlie Nicole Haynes) of Clanton; Daughter, Sonya Nicole Collins (Brian Wayne Collins) of Clanton; Stepson, Jimmy Chase Patterson of Clanton; Mother, Julia Sammons Franklin of Clanton; Brother, James Randall Franklin (Deborah) of Clanton; Brother, Gary Lynn Franklin of Clanton; Sister, Misty Michelle Franklin (Danny Eiland) of Clanton; Niece, Paula Ann Franklin Of Clanton; Grandchildren: Dillan Patterson, Caylee Collins, Kinley Collins, Kaisley Collins, Kylan Collins, Addilyn Killingsworth, Ryah Killingsworth, Marissa Eiland, Kyle Eiland and Lily Eiland.

He is preceded in death by his Father, James Paul Franklin.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Sammons officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
