Ruby Jean (Suddeth) Otts

RUBY JEAN (SUDDETH) OTTS, age 84 of Fredericktown, MO and formerly of Jemison, AL, passed away on November 23, 2025. She was born in Birmingham, AL on October 4, 1941, to the late Dewey Suddeth and Inous Thompson Suddeth.

She is preceded in death by her spouse, James A. Otts, her daughter, Robin Otts Rollins, and her son, James M. Otts.

She is survived by her daughters Ruby Marie Otts and Rachel Otts Miller and

6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Ruby was a kind and selfless and loving mother whose presence will not be forgotten. Her strength and love will continue to guide us. She will be missed beyond words but will be loved forever and always.

The family request in lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Shriners Children’s Charity.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 11:00am at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.
