Ruth (Brown) Robinson-Burnette

MARY RUTH (BROWN) ROBINSON-BURNETTE, age 91 of Clanton, passed away suddenly on September 30, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital in Clanton, AL. She was born in Chilton County on August 15, 1933; the daughter of the late Kyle F. Brown and the late Alma Lucas Brown.

She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by: Son, Phillip (Donna) Robinson; Son, Kenneth Robinson; Grandchildren: Stephanie Smith, Michelle Carroll, Paul Jones, Bryan Robinson, Dewayne Robinson, Matthew Farmer, and Kendall Robinson; and Sister, Virginia Collins.

She is preceded in death by: Daughter, Mary Robinson (Billy P.) Jones; Grandsons, Chris Jones and Brandon Robinson; Parents, Kyle and Alma Brown; and Siblings: Betty Barnett, Joyce Huett-Hilyer, Kyle Brown, Eva Jean Chambers, sylvia Cook, and Glen Brown.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 2:00pm from Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Cemetery in Jemison, AL.
