Ruthann (Mathias) Molloy

RUTHANN (MATHIAS) MOLLOY, age 86 of Alabaster, AL, passed away on January 27, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Fayette County, OH on March 11, 1936; the daughter of the late Loy Mathias and the late Ruth Havens Mathias.

She enjoyed a career as a realtor in both the Birmingham, AL and Atlanta, GA markets. She was a strong and very organized woman. She enjoyed spending time doing various crossword and word puzzles, traveling, and bowling where she played on a league. She was a woman who loved the Lord. Her greatest joy in life was being a beloved “Mamma” to her grandchildren. She loved to attend their ballgames and never wanted to miss one.

She is survived by: Daughter, Melodi (Ken)Foster of Canton, GA; Daughter, Sharon (Larry) Clapper of Buckeye, AZ; Daughter, Kelly (Chuck) Holtzman of Alabaster, AL; Son, Jeff (Nancy) Molloy of Lilburn, GA; 9 Grandchildren; and 11 Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Justin Molloy.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 2:00pm EST in the Cheatham Hills Memorial Park in Marietta, GA.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon EST until service time in the Columbarium Chapel of Cheatham Hills Memorial Park.
