Samantha Danielle Roebuck, age 37 of Verbena, passed away suddenly on March 9, 2026 at her residence. She was born in Selma, Alabama on October 30, 1988, the daughter of William Emerson Roebuck and Lisa Ann Gillispie.
Samantha worked as a manager with Dollar General, where she was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. Above all else, she was a loving and devoted mother whose children were the center of her life. She treasured every moment spent with them and took great pride in watching them grow. Samantha was also a loving and cherished aunt to her many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her family meant everything to her, and the love she had for them was evident in the way she cared for and supported them.
She is survived by her daughters, Brionne Friday of Bessemer, Sara Franklin of Verbena, Chloe Franklin of Verbena, and Shelby Franklin of Verbena; her son, Tristan Franklin of Verbena; her mother, Lisa Gillispie of Verbena; her father, Emerson (Jan) Roebuck of Clanton; her brother, Randy Roebuck of Clanton; her sisters, Patricia (Jake) Rawlinson of Prattville and Jessy Roebuck of Clanton; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Williams, and her nephew, Aiden Williams.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Kelley officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery in Maplesville, Alabama.
