Samuel Leander Coker, Jr.

SAMUEL LEANDER COKER, JR., age 73 of Clanton, passed away on January 25, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County, AL on June 2, 1950; the son of the late Samuel Leander Coker, Sr. and the late Pearlie Mims Coker.

He is survived by: Wife, Barbara Coker of Verbena; Daughter, Michelle (Joe) Holley of Verbena; Daughter, Angie (Benji) Crawford of Verbena; Daughter, Susan Coker of Opelika; Grandson, Joseph (Tabitha) Holley of Verbena; Grandson, Terry (Destiny) Holley of Verbena; Granddaughter, Brittany (Bradley) Rawlinson of Verbena; Grandson, Dustin (Amanda) Rawlinson of Clanton; Granddaughter, Kaylan (Nick) Parker of Verbena; Niece, Linda Bigham; Nephew, James (Sandra) Mcmon; 13 Great Grandchildren; and a host of great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: Father, Samuel Coker Sr.; Mother, Pearlie Coker; Sister, Louise Mcmon; and Son, Scott Logan.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 2:00pm from Bethsalem Baptist Church in Billingsley, AL with Rev. Jason Kelley officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Bethsalem Baptist Cemetery in Billingsley, AL.
