Shannon Lynn (Yates) Dawson

SHANNON LYNN (YATES) DAWSON, age 48 of Clanton, passed away on February 22, 2025 at UAB-St. Vincent Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Miami, FL on February 20, 1977; the daughter of Ricky Yates and the late Sheila Roberts Johnson.

She was a former inventory specialist.

She is survived by: Son, Michael C. (Brittany) Crowe of Prattville; Father, Ricky (Bonnie) Yates of Verbena; Sister, Sheila Yates of Clanton; Sister, Cecelia (Buddy) Davis of Clanton; Sister, Peggy Green of Clanton; Brother, George Johnson of Clanton; and Nephews: Devin Jones, Jacob (Cheyenne) Jones, Bradin Yates, Dewayne Brasher, and Jackson Yates.

She is preceded in death by: Mother, Sheila Johnson; and Grandparents, George and Peggy Roberts.
