Shari Lee (Smith) Foster

SHARI LEE (SMITH) FOSTER, age 56 of Calera, passed away on September 11, 2021 at St. Vincent-Chilton Hospital in Clanton, AL. She was born in Elmore County, AL on October 14, 1964; the daughter of the late Benny Joe Smith and Sharene Shavers Smith.

She was a former pharmacy assistant at Smitherman’s Pharmacy. She was an amazing wife, mother, mimi, daughter, sister, and friend. She had a heart for God and made a difference in the lives of many. She will never be forgotten.

She is survived by: Husband, Nelson Foster of Calera; Son, Jerry Foster of Calera; Son, Michael Sizemore of Clanton; Daughter, Miranda Green of Calera; Daughter, Tara Foster of Columbiana; 9 Grandchildren; Mother, Sharene Smith of Montevallo; Sister, Vicky Barreras of Montevallo; and Sister, Lisa Edwards of Vincent.

She is preceded in death by: Father, Benny Joe Smith; and Brother, Benjie Smith.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 6:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Terry Hicks officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
