TAMMY RENAE (LUKER) EDWARDS, age 52 of Clanton, passed away on August 25, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Chicago, IL on November 25, 1968; the daughter of the late John Harold Luker and Margaret Ann Wooten Hutto.
She was a "full time granna". Tammy was a selfless person who lived her life in service to her family and others. Her life was devoted to being a wife, mama, and granna. Tammy influenced and left an impact not only upon her family, but her entire community.
She is survived by: Husband, Ralph Edwards of Clanton; Daughter, Hailey (Garrett) Gray of Verbena; Son, Allen (Whitney) Edwards of Clanton; Son, Blake (Bethany) Edwards of Clanton; Grandchildren: Kross Gray, Kayson Gray, Gia Gray, Wren Edwards, Alynna Edwards, and Blakelynn Edwards; Mother, Margaret Hutto of Maplesville; Brother, Timmy Sledge of Clanton; Brother, Johnny Luker of Montgomery; Sister, Lithia (Randy) Davenport of Billingsley; Sister, April (Scotty) Scott of Clanton; Sister, Sherry (Goodlowe, Jr.) Green of Maplesville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by: Father, John Harold Luker; and Brother, Billy Henson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 6-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Joey Green and Rev. Billy Wyatt officiating.
Burial will follow in the New Cedron Baptist Cemetery in Billingsley, AL.
