Tammy White Obituary

Ms. Tammy Lynette (Collins) White, age 49 of Marbury, passed away suddenly on May 18, 2026 at her residence. She was born in Meridian, Mississippi on May 4, 1977; the daughter of the late Harvey Preston Collins and Annie Lou Wells.

Tammy lived life with a generous and compassionate spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She believed deeply in caring for others and faithfully supported charitable causes whenever she could. Her kindness and giving nature left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Above all else, Tammy dearly loved her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the greatest joy of her life. Whether sharing laughter, creating memories, or simply enjoying time together, her love for them was constant and unwavering. She also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Missy, who brought her much comfort and companionship through the years. Tammy’s loving heart, vibrant personality, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Katie (Timothy "Bryan" Smith) Kromer of Jemison; son, Bryan White of Columbiana; daughter, Tamara White of Columbiana; grandchildren, Kinsley Stephenson, Trinity Smith, Adeline Smith, and Boone Smith; mother, Annie Wells of Jemison; sister, Debbie Overton of Clanton; brother, Kommie Collins of Clanton; sisters, Lesia White of Columbiana and Julie Stewart of Vincent; special friend, Wayne “Pops” Griffith of Marbury; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey P. Collins; and brother, Harvey M. Collins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating. 

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. 

Burial will follow in Summer Hill Baptist Cemetery in Columbiana, Alabama.
