Tena Louise (Campbell) Harris

TENA LOUISE (CAMPBELL) HARRIS, age 63 of Wetumpka, passed away on August 3, 2023 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL. She was born in Clanton, AL on May 10, 1960; the daughter of the late Hershel Campbell and the late Lois Dennis Campbell.

Tena enjoyed living life to the fullest. She loved to dance and to bake. She will be remembered for the homemade bread that she would make to share with family and friends, especially during the holiday season. She loved the companionship of her beloved dog, Zoey, and her late dog, Max.

She is survived by: Husband, Fred Harris of Wetumpka; Daughter, Samantha Nichols of Billingsley; Brother, Buster Campbell of Clanton; Sister, Linda Campbell Dorminey of Clanton; Brother, Wayne Campbell of Alexander City; Sister, Sarah Dolph of Clanton; and Brother, Mark Barnes of Clanton.

She is preceded in death by: Father, Hershel Campbell; and Mother, Lois Campbell.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 from 5-7pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 2:00pm from Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Randol Mims officiating.

The body will be in state one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
