Teresa Ann (Vanderslice) Bennett

TERESA ANN (VANDERSLICE) BENNETT, age 62 of Fort McCoy, FL, passed away on August 31, 2025 at Grace Davis Hall in Ocala, FL. She was born in Jefferson County, AL on May 29, 1963; the daughter of the late Samuel Carl Vanderslice and Faye Siggers Vanderslice.

Teresa was a longtime sales associate with Loews Home Improvement Stores.

She is survived by: Husband, Pat Bennett of Fort McCoy, FL; Mother, Faye Vanderslice of Jemison; Sister, Cathy (Benjie) Partridge of Jemison; Nephew, Joshua (Laura) Partridge of alabaster; Niece, Mary Beth (Brandon) Baker of Clanton; Great Nieces: Katelee Partridge, Ruthie Partridge, and Sadie Baker; and Great Nephew, Samson Baker.

She is preceded in death by: Father, Sam Vanderslice.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Wren officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Union Grove Community Cemetery in Jemison, AL.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
