TERESA ANN HALSEY, age 48 of Maplesville, passed away suddenly on October 30, 2025, in Maplesville, AL. She was born in Denver, CO on November 20, 1976; the daughter of the late Leslie Halsey and the late Glenda Mishow Halsey.
Teresa spent many years serving the community as a waitress at both the Clanton and Oak Mountain Waffle House locations, along with several others during her tenure. Her upbeat spirit, exuberant personality, and warm smile made her a familiar face to countless customers and coworkers. She never met a stranger, and her outgoing nature led her to form many friendships over the years. Teresa had a heart for people—especially children—and was known for her kindness, laughter, and genuine care for those around her.
She is survived by: Son, Justin Fowler of Sylacauga; Daughter, Morgan Fowler of Northport; Grandchildren, Triston Fowler, Alexis Fowler, and Liam Fowler; Sister, Cathleen Davis of Clanton; Sister, Jessica Halsey of Sterling Heights, MI; and Brothers, Jesse Halsey and Bubba Halsey, both of Sterling Heights, MI.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Glenda Halsey; and Infant Brother, Carlton Ray Halsey.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, AL.
