Timmy Jake Wells

TIMMY JAKE WELLS, 64, of Verbena, Alabama, passed away on April 27, 2025, at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama.

Born on August 5, 1960, in Chilton County, Timmy was the beloved son of the late Johnny Enoch Wells and the late Margie Nell Smith Wells. A talented carpenter by trade, Timmy took pride in his craftsmanship and the work he built throughout his life.

Outside of his profession, Timmy found joy in the simple pleasures: riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, scrolling through Facebook, and spending time hunting. His adventurous spirit and laid-back nature endeared him to everyone who knew him.

He will be remembered for his easygoing attitude, love of the outdoors, and the strong bonds he shared with friends and family.

He is survived by: Wife, Linda Wells; Son, T.J. Wells; Son, Bryan Wells; Son, Allen Wells; 7 Grandchildren; Brother, Mickey (Terri) Wells; Sister, Renea Mims; Sister, Patricia Ellison; Brother, Johnny Ray Wells; and Brother, Ricky Wells.

He is preceded in death by: Parents, Johnny and Margie Wells; and Brother, Tommy Wells.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, Alabama.
