Veronica Jean (Lapp) Mims

VERONICA JEAN (LAPP) MIMS, age 52 of Clanton passed away suddenly on September 13, 2024 at her home. She was born in Wisconsin on October 17, 1971 daughter of Allen Lapp and Mary Lapp. 

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. To know her was to know patience and love. She cared for everyone who came in contact with her. Veronica's faith was strong and she loved with all her heart. Truly an angel whom walked this earth. 

She is survived by her Loving Husband, Shane Mims of Clanton; Son, Mark McMullin Jr. (Courtney) of Clanton; Daughter, Heather McMullin (Roger) of Montevallo; Daughter, Brittany McMullin (Jacob) of Briarfield; Son, Jeffery Seth Brooks (Kaitlyn) of Montevallo; Daughter, Dixie Mims of Clanton; Daughter-in-law, Devon Young; Eight Grandchildren; Parents; Allen and Mary Lapp; Brother, Justin Lapp of Clanton; Sister, Alana Lapp of Clanton; Sister, Heidi Lapp Ehrlich of Wisconsin; Father-in-law, Jerry Walters; Mother-in-law, Sara Walters; and a host of Nieces and Nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her Grandfather, George Wallace Ottman Sr.; Grandmother, Elda Marie Ziemer; and the twins. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 1:00pm from Lime Springs Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Shannon officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Lime Springs Methodist Church Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
