WILLIAM CARL EASTERLING, age 72 of Clanton, passed away on May 22, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on December 12, 1951; the son of the late William Earl Easterling and the late Louise Baker Easterling.
He was a former carpenter. Carl was an avid outdoors man that enjoyed hunting and taking long walks in the national forest. He enjoyed the company of his pet cats that he had around his home. He loved the Lord and his church family at New Hope Baptist Church in Jemison. He will be best remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, and pawpaw who always had that special grin on his face.
He is survived by: Wife, Mary H. Easterling of Clanton; Daughter, Brandy (Keith) Williams of Jemison; Son, Chris (Tammy) Easterling of Clanton; Son, Tommy (Lacey) Headley of Jemison; Son, Kevin (Mystic) Headley of Verbena; Son, Shane (Lindsey Little) Headley of Clanton; Daughter, Barbara (Chris) Williams of Troy; Daughter, Michelle Huett of Clanton; Daughter, Paula (Michael) Garrett of Robertsdale; Daughter, Tanya (Jay) Little of Robertsdale; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Kelvin Smitherman and Rev. Jeff Mims officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in the Walnut Creek Methodist Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
