William "Buck" Carl Smith

WILLIAM CARL "BUCK" SMITH, age 66 of Jemison passed away September 25, 2024 at home surrounded by is family. He was born in Alabama on July 20, 1958, son of the late James Smith and the late Betty Joe Smith.

He was a Logger in the Logging Industry.

William is survived by his, Son, William Killingsworth of Lawley; Granddaughter, Chrystal (Josh) Bean of Maplesville; Brothers, Bo Smith of Randolph, Wendall Smith; Sisters, Joanie Smith of Randolph, Joann Epperson of Briarfield, Ellen Lawley of Randolph; Step-daughters, Cathy Smith of Maplesville, Donna Childers of Jemison; Step-son, Frankie Smith of Jemison; Grandchildren, Kason Killingsworth of Lawley, Catherine Posey of Jemison, Lacey Childress of Jemison, Brittany Smith of Clanton, Devin Roper of Jemison, Arion Roper of Jemison, John Smith of Jemison, Jillian Smith of Jemison; Great- Grandchildren, Alexis Clark of Randolph, Emmalee Clark of Randolph, Micheal Clark of Randolph, Taylor Bean of Maplesville, and Kayden Bean of Maplesville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorthy Fuller of Jemison; and Parents, James and Betty Joe Smith of Randolph.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
