Willie Frank Blankenship

WILLIE FRANK BLANKENSHIP, age 82 of Deatsville, passed away of April 9, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Elmore County on September 1, 1938; the son of the late Luncy Blankenship and the late Mary Frances Strength Blankenship.

He was a former residential carpenter.

He is survived by: Wife, Sheila Blankenship of Deatsville; Son, Dwayne Blankenship of Millbrook; Son, Greg Blankenship of Deatsville; Daughter, Kimberly (Marty) Barnes of Elmore; Grandchildren: Mark (Kelis) Barnes, Angela Barnes, Dakota Blankenship, and Landyn (Hannah) Blankenship; Great Grandchildren, Ren Blankenship and Karson Barnes; and Sister, Ruthie Pittman of Childersburg.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Frankie Blankenship.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 11:00am from the New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Derek Deavers, Rev. Roger Willis, and Rev. Heath Reece officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the New Harmony Baptist Cemetery in Marbury, AL.
