Sarah Ann (Cooper) Brown

SARAH ANN COOPER BROWN, age 71 of Verbena, passed away September 16, 2017 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster. She was born on July 27, 1946 in Clay County, AL, daughter of the late James Price Cooper and the late Era Bell Jackson Cooper.

She was a floral designer.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Maggie) Brown and Eddie Brown; Grandchildren, Robert J. Brown, Justin Brown, Cecilia Bryant, Cara Bryant, Alesha (Kyle) Gray, Christina (Blake) Headley and Justin Stafford; 13great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews that she loved; and sisters-in-law, Janie Cooper and Dorothea Cooper.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Era Bell Cooper; Husband, Eddie Richard Brown; and siblings, Geneva Cooper, Ethel Cooper Allen, Charles Cooper, Jimmy Cooper, Jack Cooper, Terry Cooper, Mick Cooper, Bob Cooper, J.P. Cooper, Gary Cooper, Roger Cooper, and Jerry Hurst.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00am from the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Saturday at the funeral home.
