Shirley Ann (Culp) Ellison

SHIRLEY ANN ELLISON, age 82 of Clanton, passed away on July 12, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on March 29, 1935; the daughter of the late Clarence Marion Culp and the late Ruth Ethelyne Watson Culp.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by: Husband, Elvin Ellison of Clanton; Son, Richard Ellison of Clanton; Son, Terry Ellison of Huntsville; Daughter, Karen (Terry) Teal of Blountsville; Grandchildren: Madison Teal, Andrew Teal, Caroline Teal, Jeremy Ellison, and Mackenzie Ellison; Sister, Patricia Braddock of Fultondale; and Brother, Fred Culp of Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence M. and Ruth E. Culp.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 14, 2015 from 6-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Scott officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
