Catherine Ann (Evans) Moxley

CATHERINE ANN MOXLEY, age 64 of Montevallo, passed away on July 27, 2019 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Homewood, AL. She was born in Hinesville, GA on January 1, 1955; the daughter of the late William Lansom Evans and Mavis Jacqueline Odom Hopper.

She was a former postal worker with the United States Postal Service. She enjoyed writing letters and things. She was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church No. 1, where she loved her church family. Her greatest joy was spending time and loving on her grandchildren.

She is survived by: Husband, Tony Moxley of Montevallo; Daughter, Jacqueline (Philip) Richardson of Fairhope; Daughter, Rebecca (Paul) Oden of Montevallo; Daughter, Toni (T.W.) Beam of Montevallo; Son, Caleb (Matthew) Moxley of Homewood; Step-Daughter, Allyson Moxley of Birmingham; Grandchildren: Sam Richardson, Mary Catherine Richardson, Zachary Oden, Anna Kate Oden, Luke Oden, and Terryson Beam; Mother, Jackie (Jerry) Hopper of Jemison; Brother, Bobby (Senri) Evans of Clanton; Sister, Faye Lucas of Jemison; Brother, Gene (Stephen) Evans of Los Angeles, CA; and Sister, Wanda Evans of Birmingham.

She is preceded in death by: Father, Bill Evans; and Brother, Billy Evans.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 2:00pm from the Providence Baptist Church No. 1 with Rev. Allen Foster and Rev. Scott Watson officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Providence Baptist Church No. 1 Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL.
