Cathryn "Becky" Rebecca Gibb

CATHRYN REBECCA “BECKY” GIBB, age 63 of Calera, passed away on August 4, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Jefferson County on February 17, 1956; the daughter of the late John H. Gibb and the late Cathryn Glass Gibb.

She was a former convenience store clerk.

She is survived by: Son, John (Angie) Jones; Grandchildren: Cody Jones, Cory Jones, and Autumn Jones; Step-Grandchildren: LeAnn Land, Chrissy Land, and Katie Land; Step-Great Grandchildren: Chrislan Whitman and Griffin Land; Brother, John B. Gibb; Sister, Mary Jean Silvers; Sister, Lynn (Bruce) Morris; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by: Son, Charles Joseph Jones; Father, John H. Gibb; and Mother, Cathryn Glass Gibb.

Becky left this following quote by Steven Meara-Blount for all of her loved ones to ponder; “When tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we far apart, for every time you think of me just remember I’m right here in your heart.”

The family gives a special thank you to her special niece, Ann Day, for all her assistance during Becky’s illness.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Evie Megginson officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery in Randolph, AL.
