Claughton Earl Kendrick

CLAUGHTON EARL KENDRICK, age 78 of Clanton, passed away on April 28, 2018 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. He was born in Clanton, AL on March 4, 1940; the son of the late Ernest Kendrick and the late Etta Mae Mullins Kendrick.

He was a former truck driver. He also honorably served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by: Former Wife, Patricia Kendrick of Clanton; Daughter, Lisa Kendrick (DeWayne) Winslett of Clanton; Son, Michael Earl (Kristy) Kendrick of Clanton; Grandchildren: Will E. Winslett, Reece J. (Desiree) Winslett, Destiny L. Kendrick, and Madelynn E. Kendrick; Brother, Clyde (Betty) Kendrick of Cullman; Sister, Wynell (Wayne) Pruitt of Calera; Sister, Gail (Frank) Atkinson of Clanton; and a host of other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 5-78pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, AL.

Graveside funeral services with military honors will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in Clanton, AL with Rev. Ernest Fike officiating.
