Evelyn Lawrence Roebuck

EVELYN LAWRENCE ROEBUCK age 98 of Clanton, passed away on October 31, 2018 at her residence. She was born on December 7, 1919 to the late Choba Lawrence and the late Irene Latham Lawrence. 

She was a retired clerk for the Town of Maplesville. 

She is survived by her son, Roger (Pat) L'Ecuyer of Selma; Grandchildren, Patricia L'Ecuyer of Maplesville and Jessica (Charlie) Gruber of Clearwater, FL; Great-grandchildren, Gavin L'Ecuyer, Tylie L'Ecuyer, and Landon Gruber; Siblings, Augusta Harris of Huntsville, Donald Lawrence of Opelika, Betty (John L.) Mitchell of Opelika, and Barbara Rush of Clanton; Special Family Member, Diane L'Ecuyer of Maplesville; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

She is preceded is death by her parents, Choba and Irene Lawrence; Husband, Welch Roebuck; and siblings, Choba Lawrence, Branson Lawrence, Lovice Bryan, Vernell Davis, Geneva Atchison, Inez Lane, and Nettie Smith. 

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 3:00 pm from the Stanton Bible Methodist Church with Rev. William Snider officiating. 

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Maplesville. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Sunday at the church.

Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton.
