L. C. Dawson

L. C. DAWSON, age 75 of Clanton, passed away on September 27, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on August 31, 1944; the son of the late Jasper Davis Dawson and the late Julie B. Martin Dawson.

He was a former cutter in the log woods.

He is survived by: Wife, Barbara Sue Dawson of Clanton; Son, Travis (Cindy)Dawson of Clanton; Son, Randy (Sheri) Dawson of Verbena; Daughter, Lisa K. Ray of Clanton; Son, James (Valerie) Dawson of Verbena; 16 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Pernie Jones of Randolph; and Sister, Anne Wyatt of Alabaster.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 after 5:00pm at the Dawson residence located at 3701 7th St. N. in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 1:00pm from the Dawson family residence.

Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Jemison, AL.
