Lavoy Wilson

LAVOY WILSON, age 78 of Billingsley, passed away on March 7, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Clanton on September 25, 1939; the son of the late Charles Wilson and the late Julia Edwards Wilson.

He was retired from the US Postal Service.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Wilson of Billingsley; Children, Lynn Cleckler of Collins Chapel, Darren (Julie) Wilson of Collins Chapel, Dale Wilson of Chicago , IL; Justin (Jennifer) Stover of Richland, NC, and Robert “Tony” (Paige) Stover of Billingsley; Sister, Jenny Sue (Chuck) Patterson of Clanton; Daughter-in-law, Angelia Stover of Jacksonville, SC; and Grandchildren, Nate Wilson, Cora Wilson, Brandon Stover, Landon Stover, Bentley Stover, Corey Stover, Savannah Stover, and Lakelyn Stover.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 10, 2018 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Burns officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
