Mary Magdalene (Warren) Blackmon

MARY MAGDALENE BLACKMON, age 88 of Jemison, passed away on August 8, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County on December 24, 1929; the daughter of the late David A. Warren and the late Alice Posey Warren.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by: Son, Donnie R. (Peggy) Blackmon of Jemison; Son, Randy (Jo Ellen) Blackmon of Montevallo; Grandsons: Brandon (Brittany) Blackmon of Clanton, Phillip (Heather) Blackmon of Jemison, Steven (Rachel) Blackmon of Nashville, TN, and Greg Blackmon of Clanton; Granddaughter, Tonya Blackmon of Clanton; Great Grandchildren: Emery Claire Blackmon, Jace Blackmon, Dyson Dempsey, Jake Blackmon, and Taylor Miller; and Great-Great-Grandchildren, Zayden Nunn and Brice Nunn.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Edward O’Neal Blackmon; Son, Alton Blackmon; Great Granddaughter, Rylee Blackmon; and Parents, David and Alice Warren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 5-8pm at the Clanton Church of God.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 11:00am from the Clanton Church of God with Rev. Billy Boatwright officiating.

Burial will follow in the Thorsby Memory Gardens in Thorsby, AL.
