Armissie (Austin) Carroll

ARMISSIE (AUSTIN) CARROLL, age 104 of Clanton, passed away on March 31, 2024 at Hatley Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Clanton, AL. She was born in Geneva County, AL on May 4, 1919; the daughter of the late Milton Austin and the late Sennie Spikes Austin.

She was a former beautician.

She is survived by: Daughter, Gale Cleckler of Thorsby; Grandson, Dr. John David Wilson of Murry, KY; Grandson, Don Wilson of Decatur, GA; Great Grandson, Alex Wilson of Murry, KY; Great Grandson, Austin Wilson of Murry, KY; and a host of extended family.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Theron D. Carroll.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 9-10am at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, AL.

A graveside service will follow at 2:00pm in the Chalkhead Baptist Cemetery in Ozark, AL with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.
