BENNY KENT HEADLEY, age 69 of Jemison, passed away on April 20, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Chilton County on September 10, 1953; the son of the late Carl A.D. Headley and the late Geraldine Payton Headley.
He was a former carpenter in residential construction.
He is survived by: Daughter, Alisha (Chris) Callahan of Calera; Son, Brian Headley; Brother, Carl (Joan) Headley of Clanton; Sister, Peggy Headley of Clanton; Sister, Shirley Bright of Jemison; Grandchildren: Shay Dennis of Mobile; Jacob Ellison of Thorsby; and Hayden Callahan of Calera.
He is preceded in death by: Parents, A.D. and Geraldine Payton Headley; Sister, Lougene Headley; Sister, Patsy Gore; and Sister, Joyce Gore.
A private interment was held in the Collins Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Jemison, AL.
Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton, AL.
