Betty Baldock Frost

Betty Baldock Frost age 91 of Clanton, passed away on January 28, 2019 at St. Vincent's Chilton Hospital. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on July 7, 1927 to the late Robert Baldock and the late Helen Vining Baldock.

She was an activities director with a nursing home until retirement. She worked many years with social services counseling families and helping them make decisions about nursing home care for their loved ones.  She also dedicated time to helping with Special Olympics, Alzheimer patients. and serving as a bereavement counselor. She was an active and long time member of the Lime Springs United Methodist Church, also an active member of the Eastern Star Chapter 271, and served as a pink lady for the Chilton County Hospital. 

She is survived by her children, Mary Diamond (Richard) Hurst of Clanton and Robert (Martha) Diamond of Flora Home, AL; 11 Grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren..

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Helen Baldock; Husband, Palmer Frost; Children, Elizabeth Stromquist Setzer and Peter L. Diamond, Jr.; and siblings, Robert Baldock, Jr. and Paul E. Baldock.

Funeral services will be held on January 31, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Lime Springs United Methodist Church in Clanton with Rev. Jim Shannon officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family request no flowers, please donate to the Lime Springs UMC in memory of Betty.
