Betty Sue (Grant) Jones

BETTY SUE (GRANT) JONES, age 70 of Clanton, passed away suddenly on August 20, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Clanton, AL on September 27, 1950; the daughter of the late Elbert Grant and the late Lula Bell Dennis Grant.

She was a former cosmetologist. She loved her Lord Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of the Clanton First Assembly of God where she spent many years playing the piano.

She is survived by: Husband, Robert Jones of Clanton; Daughter, Janee K. Jones of Birmingham; Sister, Joyce Mims of Clanton; and Brother, Paul Grant of Jemison.

She is preceded in death by: Parents, Elbert and Lula Bell Grant; and Brother, Danny Grant.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Randy Reid officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Poplar Springs Baptist Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
