BETTY SUE PAYNE, age 85 of Jemison, passed away on September 7, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Chilton County on January 28, 1936; the daughter of the late Charlie C. Ray and the late Bertie Ellison Ray.

She was a former beautician.

She is survived by her great niece and caregiver, Caitlyn Headley of Jemison.

A private graveside service will be held by the family.

Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Jemison, AL.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton, AL.
