Carlise Elbert Lawley

CARLISE ELBERT LAWLEY, age 89 of Jemison, passed away on October 10, 2018 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. He was born in Shelby County on April 22, 1929; the son of the late Willie Lawley and the late Josephine Lawley.

He was a former maintenance man with heavy equipment. He also honorably served his country in the United States Airforce.

He is survived by: Wife, Jessie Lawley of Alabaster; Son, Jimmy (Becky) Lawley of Jemison; Son, Mike (Linda) Lawley of Maylene; Son, Steve (Lisa) Lawley of Montevallo; 5 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; and 5 Sister-in-Laws.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 5-7pm at the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home at Shelby Memory Gardens with Rev. Tom Powers officiating.

Burial will follow in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL.
