Carolyn Faye (Hubbard) Adams

CAROLYN FAYE (HUBBARD) ADAMS, age 74 of Jemison, passed away on January 18, 2021 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. She was born in Birmingham, AL on April 23, 1946; the daughter of the late Harvey Milton Hubbard and the late Jewel Lucille Scott Hubbard.

She was a former receptionist with Jemison Internal Medicine. Carolyn loved the outdoors while spending time camping, fishing, and deer hunting. She loved to go to church and to sing hymns and southern gospel music. She and her husband, Grady, attended Faith Full Gospel Church in Jemison.

She is survived by: Husband, Grady Adams of Jemison; Daughter, Deborah (Kenneth) Kirkland of Verbena; Daughter, Linda (Robert) Jones of Verbena; Son, Roy (Misty) Adams of Thorsby; Daughter, Marsha (Mark) Boone of Bay Minette; Daughter-in-Law, Janice Dennis of Clanton; 15 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Harvey (Angela) Hubbard of Clanton; Sister-in-Law, Teresa Hubbard of Jemison; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by: Son, Lester Joseph Dennis, Jr.; Father, Harvey Hubbard, Sr.; Mother, Lucille Hubbard; and Brother, Sammy Hubbard.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Harvey Hubbard and Rev. Keith Scott, Sr. officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Thorsby, AL.
