Carolyn Ussery Obituary

CAROLYN RAY USSERY “GRANDMA or MAW-MAW”, age 71 of Clanton, went home to be with the Lord on August 25, 2018. She was born in Alabama on July 20, 1947, daughter of the late Samuel Ray and the late Elouies Wilburn Ray.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandma. Her loving heart and kindness will be missed by all. She will be loved by all and missed until we all meet again.

She is survived by: Son, Zer Ussery; Daughter, Cheri Ussery; Daughter, Kim (Steve) DeLancey; Seven Grandchildren; Numerous Great-Grandchildren; Four Brothers; One Sister; and her best friend, Chico.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry “Paw-Paw” Ussery.

A private family service will be held.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home of Clanton.
