CATHERINE (DEFREESE) GOLLA, age 91 of Rockford, passed away on July 3, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Blount County, AL on October 20, 1929; the daughter of the late Thomas DeFreese and the late Mannie Bowerman DeFreese.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by: Husband, Robert Golla of Rockford; Son, Wayne Golla of Rockford; Sister-in-Laws: Denise Descheve of Pawtucket, RI, Marcelle Ventura of France, Marie Helene Risho of France, and Claire Pierre of France; Brother-in-Laws, Maurice Golla and Rene Golla of France; Nices, Grace Hicks and Martha Melvin of Pinson, AL; and Nephews, Bill McAnnally of Pinson and Alan McAnnally of Huntsville.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 2:00pm in the Providence Baptist Cemetery in Rockford, AL.

There will be no visitation. Everyone please meet at the cemetery just prior to service time.
