Christopher Anthony Carr

CHRISTOPHER ANTHONY CARR, age 28 of Thorsby, passed away suddenly on April 18, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Swanesboro, GA on April 5, 1993; the son of Timothy Wayne Carr and Teresa Jean Holt Horner.

Christopher loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter Revilynn. He will be remembered for his big heart that always seen the best in people. He done a great deal of charity work for Children’s Hospital of Alabama where he would dress as Superman to brighten the day and bring smiles to the patients there.

He is survived by: Son, Kylen Smitherman of Haleyville; Daughter, Revilynn Carr of Clanton; Father, Tim Carr of Jemison; Mother, Teresa (Steven) Horner of Clanton; Brothers: A.J. (Eileen) Carr of Millbrook, Shane (Taylor) Carr of Clanton, Jacob (Jessica) Hamilton of Foley, Blake (Laurin) Carr of Clanton, and Devin (Marissa) Horner of Clanton; Sisters, Makayla Horner of Clanton and Alexis Carr of Jemison; Grandmother, Jeanette Marcus of Clanton; Grandmother, Geneva Smith of Scott, GA; MeMaw, Janice Cleckler of Clanton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 5-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Burial will follow in the Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in Clanton, AL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Alabama in Christopher’s memory.
