Danny Clarence Collins

DANNY CLARENCE COLLINS, age 66 of Clanton, passed away on October 14, 20119 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. He was born in Clanton, AL on April 25, 1953; the son of the late Grady Collins and the late Ruth Bryant Collins.

Danny was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. He will be remembered by his family for his funny sense of humor. He was an avid gun collector and an aviation enthusiast.

He is survived by: Wife, Sue Collins of Clanton; Daughter, Wendy (Chad) Smith of Maplesville; Son, Tracey Collins of Eclectic; Daughter, Dana (Shannon) Calfee of Clanton; Son, Keith (Candace) Collins of Clanton; 10 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Floyd Collins of Clanton; Brother, David Collins of Clanton; Sister, Belinda Stone of Dothan.

He is preceded in death by: Parents, Grady and Ruth Collins; and Sister, Barbara Gail Collins.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 3:00pm in the Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton, AL with Rev. Andy Mims officiating.

There will be no visitation. Everyone please meet at the cemetery prior to the service.
