Doris Faye (Holsomback) Compton

DORIS FAYE (HOLSOMBACK) COMPTON, age 83 of Montevallo, passed away on April 7, 2021 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. She was born in Maylene, AL on August 28, 1937; the daughter of the late Jessie Holsomback and the late Maude Pickett Holsomback.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by: Son, Chuck (Sonja) Compton of Jemison; Daughter, Joanne (Bradley) Curtis of Montevallo; Daughter, Ronda (Steve) Brewer of Montevallo; Son, Danny Compton of Montevallo; 8 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Billie Waters of Alabaster; and Sister, Pat Gollihur of Portage, IN.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Charles Compton.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 11:00am in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL with Rev. Bobby Coston officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the Shelby Memory Gardens Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Calera.
