Evelyn Marie (Edwards) Patterson

EVELYN MARIE PATTERSON, age 82 of Jemison, passed away suddenly on July 14, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Chilton County on January 29, 1937; the daughter of the late Isaiah Lee Edwards and the late Myrtle Thorpe Edwards.

She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was a faithful member of Pates Chapel Baptist Church for many years.

She is survived by: Son, Jerry (Ann) Patterson of Thorsby; Son, Gary (Tricia) Patterson of Thorsby; Son, Terry (Jackie) Patterson of Deatsville; Son, Mark (Tina) Patterson of Jemison; Daughter, Paula Eggers of Birmingham; 9 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; and a Sister, Coletha “Sister” Littlejohn of Prattville.

She is preceded in death by: Husband, Paul Patterson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 11:00am from Pates Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Jones and Rev. Randol Mims officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Thorsby, AL.
