GREGORY FRANK GOTHARD, age 66 of Jemison, passed away suddenly on May 12, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Clanton, AL on March 29, 1952; the son of the late Frank Gothard and Mary Opal Smith Gothard.
He was a maintenance man.
He is survived by: Mother, Opal Gothard of Jemison; Sister, Marilyn (Charles) Hubbard of Jemison; Niece, Dee (Darrell) Dutton of Jemison; Niece, Holly (Zach) Wilson of Jemison; Great Nephew, Harley Dutton of Jemison; Great Nieces, Journey Wilson and Oakleigh Wilson of Jemison; along with his canine companion, “Little Bit”.
He is preceded in death by: Father, Frank Gothard; and Great Nephew, Zander Wilson.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:00am from Mars Hill Baptist Church in Jemison, AL with Rev. William Earl Short officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
The family request no flowers, please contribute to the Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
