JEFFREY LYNN SPAIN, age 62 of Verbena, passed away on October 29, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Bessemer, AL on May 9, 1957; the son of the late Jessie Franklin Spain and Christine Harris Winkleblack.
He was a former mechanic.
He is survived by: Daughter, Breezy Hughes of Marbury; Son, Brian (Lori) Spain of Calera; Grandchildren: Jessica Hughes, Emily Hughes, Matthew Hughes, Thomas Glass, Jeffrey Spain, Jr., Isabel Spain, and Nova Spain; Mother, Christine Winkleblack of Oklahoma City, OK; Sisters: Jo Ann Winkleblack, Donna Spain, and Joyce Spain all of Oklahoma City, OK; Brother, James Berry Spain of Oklahoma City, OK; and Girlfriend, Linda Boothe of Verbena.
He is preceded in death by: Father, Jessie Spain; and Sister, Sandy Spain Stanley.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Mike Cheatham officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
