Jessie Wayne Lewis

JESSIE WAYNE LEWIS, age 67 of Clanton, passed away on July 28, 2020 at UAB Palliative Care in Birmingham, AL. He was born in Chilton County on March 1, 1953; the son of the late Jessie Lorenzo Lewis and Mary Jo Ward Lewis.

He was a mechanic with Stokes Automotive in Clanton for over 20 years.

He is survived by: Son, Jessie Len Lewis of Montevallo; Daughter, Christina Jo Lewis of Clanton; Son, Joseph Shane Lewis of Clanton; 6 Grandchildren; Mother, Mary Jo Lewis of Clanton; and Brother, Howard (Debra) Lewis of Clanton.

He is preceded in death by: Father, Jessie L. Lewis; Sister, Gail Lewis; and Brother, Ralph Lewis.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Travis Marler officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.

Burial will follow in the Chestnut Creek Cemetery in Verbena, AL.
