Jo Ann (Hartkopf) Cook

JO ANN COOK, age 71 of Columbiana, passed away on December 9, 2019 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, AL. She was born in Birmingham, AL on March 9, 1948; the daughter of the late Joseph Marion Hartkopf and the late Mildred Irene Franks Hartkopf.

She was a former recreational director for healthcare facilities.

She is survived by: Brother, John Harlan Hartkopf of Columbiana; Brother, William Frank Hartkopf of Columbiana; Brother, Fred Herbert (Terasa) Hartkopf of Calera; Sister, Uma Catherine Bornhuetter of Pell City; and Sister, Hazel Wagoner of Greensburg, LA.

She is preceded in death by: Son, Steve Wayne Cook; and Daughter, Deanna Stephanie Spalding.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 11:00am from the Shelby Memory Gardens Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Calera with Speaker Isaac Jones officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL.
