Kenneth Ray Cleckler

KENNETH RAY CLECKLER, age 76 of Verbena, passed away on July 26, 2021 at Westhill Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bessemer, AL. He was born in Chilton County on June 10, 1945; the son of the late Horace Cleckler and the late Myrtle Mims Cleckler.

He was a former truck driver.

He is survived by: Daughter, Tanya (Jason) Lowery of Thorsby; Son, Shane (Carrie) Cleckler of Verbena; 9 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Ester (Ronnie) Jones of Clanton; and Sister, Myra (Chris) Davis of Clanton.

He is preceded in death by: Son, Heath Cleckler; Parents, Horace and Myrtle Cleckler; Sister, Charlotte Stewart; and Sister, Melba Adams.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 6-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 10:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Church of God Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
