Lula Hester Norriss

LULA HESTER NORRISS, age 90 of Birmingham, passed away on October 3, 2020 at Hatley Healthcare in Clanton, AL. She was born in Tuscaloosa County on April 22, 1930; the daughter of the late Curry Sydney Norriss and the late Flora Ann Green Norriss.

She was an engineering assistant with Bell South where she retired after 47 years of service. She loved her family and was devoted to them.

She is survived by: Sister, Elizabeth Studdard of Montevallo; Sister, Clara Varn of Elberta; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 2:00pm in the Montevallo City Cemetery in Montevallo, AL with Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.

There will be no public visitation. Everyone please gather at the cemetery just prior to service time.
