Maureen Benson Obituary

Maureen Ione Clevland Benson age 68 of Maplesville, passed away on December 23, 2018 at St. Vincent's Chilton Hospital in Clanton. She was born in Centreville, AL on November 5, 1950 to the late Jackson Clevland and the late Gladys Moore Clevland.

She was a seamstress.

She is survived by her children, Denise (John) Hinton, Amy (Russ) Haughton, Dana (Barry) Reeves, David Benson, Jeremy (Kori Beth) Benson, Rachel (Matthew) Walker, and Melissa Benson; 12 Grandchildren; 1 Great-grandchild on the way; and Siblings, Sharon (Stewart) Creel, Mary Ann Pratt, Dorothy Fancher, Oliver Clevland, Marvin Clevland, and Jane Smith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jackson and Gladys Clevland; Husband, Dan Beson; and Sister, Annette Morrison.

Funeral services will held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:00pm from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Johnny Dutton officiating.

Burial will follow at the Faith Baptist Church Cemetery in Plantersville.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
