Patricia Ann (Horton) Myers

PATRICIA ANN (HORTON) MYERS, age 78 of Verbena, passed away on July 24, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Jefferson County on December 16, 1943; the daughter of the late John Henry Horton and the late Jessie Delene Logan Horton.

She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She was a friend to all who knew. She believed in giving, even when it meant sacrificially. She was faithful to her church and loved her Lord Jesus Christ. She diligently studied the word and was an in-depth teacher of His word, especially to her family and those she loved most.

She is survived by: Husband, Ralph Myers of Verbena; Son, Duane (Charlene) Myers of Sylvan Springs; Daughter, Becky (Garry) Littleton of Clanton; Son, John (Mleese) Myers of Verbena; 15 Grandchildren; and 16 Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by: Parents, John and Jessie Horton; Sister, Virginia Farley; and Infant Brother, Willie Joe Horton.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 11:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Mims officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Baptist Cemetery in Clanton, AL.
