Paul Murphy Brantley, Jr.

PAUL MURPHY BRANTLEY, JR., age 85 of Montevallo, passed away on April 6, 2022 at Shelby Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation in Alabaster, AL. He was born in Straven, AL on February 1, 1937; the son of the late Paul Murphy Brantley, Sr. and the late Genoa Pledger Brantley.

He was a former pattern maker with ABC Rail in Calera.

He is survived by: Son, Billy (Rebecca) Brantley of Montevallo; Grandchildren, Jill Brantley and Wyn Brantley both of Montevallo; Sister, Geraldine Amason of Montevallo; and Sister, Joyce Snead of Shelby.

He is preceded in death by: Wife, Betty J. Brantley; and Son, James Brantley.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 1:00pm in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL with Rev. Todd Burr officiating.

There will be no visitation.
