Randall Lee Thompson

RANDALL LEE THOMPSON, age 65 of Calera, passed away on July 3, 2021 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. He was born in Cleveland, OH on September 21, 1955; the son of the late Ernest C. Thompson, Jr. and the late Patricia Sue Brown Thompson.

He was a carpenter by trade, and his work was admired and appreciated by those around him. He will be best remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

He is survived by: Wife, Barbara Ingram of Calera; Daughter, Mandy Shippers of Helena; Daughter, Shannon Morgan of Hattiesburg, MS; Grandchildren: Alexis, Abigail, Blake, Noah, Michael, and Marissa; Great Grandchildren: Leo, Nova, Cal, Aaron, Bradley, Tommy, and Morgan; Sister, Ann Gomez of Newnan, GA; Brother, Dwayne Thompson of Newnan, GA; Brother, Ricky Thompson of Montevallo; and Brother, Phillip Thompson of Newnan, GA.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 11:00am in the Shelby Memory Gardens in Calera, AL with Rev. David Cunningham officiating.

There will be no visitation. Everyone please meet at the cemetery for services.
